Resolved: Problems registering new wired devices

Update: This problem has been resolved.

If you have a new wired device you're trying to connecting on ResNet this semester, you may be having problems accessing the Internet. ITS-Network Services is continuing to work on a solution, but until then we have a fix for you:

1. Find your device's MAC address.
2. Manually register that device through Add/Remove Registrations.

This only applies to devices using a network cable. If you're having problems, please call the ResNet Helpdesk at 319-273-7768.
