Fix a Connection Problem

You may have an incorrect IP address in which case you would need to "Release/Renew" your IP address. Instructions on how to do this are found here.

If the release/renew process doesn't work, try clearing your browser cache. Instructions on how to do this can be found here.

A less common issue that users run into is finding that there is another computer with the same name exists on the network. If you're receiving this error message, please find instructions on how to change that here.

If you suddenly lose connection, make sure to check your Active Directory account password. You can view/change your password by logging into a Student Computer Center computer. To change your password, click here or call the CCC at (319) 273-5555.

If you are seeing the same pages in a loop when registering, please contact the helpdesk. They will be able to fix this for you.
